CEO members include Las Cruces Mayor William Mattiace, represented by Dolores Conner, Mesilla Mayor Michael Cadena, who also serves as Chair, County Commission Chair Dolores Saldana-Caviness, represented by Commissioner Kent Evans, Mayor of Hatch Judd Nordyke, and Mayor of Sunland Park J. Ruben Seguro.

They have appointed and recertified key members of the SAWDB, including David Carrillo, president of USWA Local 9424, Roque Garcia from the Rio Grande Behavioral Health Services and recently-appointed Monitoring Committee Chair, Terri Garcia from the Mesilla Valley Training Institute, Mary Jo Lipinski, branch manager for RM Personnel and Outreach/Stakeholders Committee Chair, Phyllis McNall from Aging and Long Term Services, Sylvia Nickerson, director of Adult Basic Education at Doña Ana Community College, Michelle Phillips from the NM Commission for the Blind, Susan Roberts, development foundation director of the Diocese of Las Cruces, County Treasurer Jim Schoonover, County Commissioner Oscar Vasquez-Butler, and President of the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Agency Steve Vierck. In addition, many of the members of the SAWDB’s Youth Council also come from the most populated county in the region. Council members include George Duran, Anthony Rodriquez from Families and Youth, Inc., Debbie Schoonover from the Las Cruces Public Schools, and Jerry Welch from DACC.
