Here are the results of the Southwest W DA performance measures for the first quarter of PY04, which were negotiated with the Office of Workforce Training and Development. Data for Entered Employment and Credential is Exiters from October through December 2003. Data for Retention and Earning Change is Exiters from April through June 2003. Data for Customer Satisfaction is Exiters from January through March 2004. Diploma or Equivalent Rate, Skill Attainment Rate and Exiters is data from April through June 2004. Data for Registrants and is from July through September 2004.

For the 1st
quarter of PY04 the Southwest WDA is not meeting two performance measures. The
measures are the Adult Earnings Change and Older Youth Earnings Change. The
Southwest WDA is meeting four of the performance measures and is exceeding in
eleven of the measures. In order to
meet a performance goal a WDA must obtain 80% of the negotiated measure. In
order to exceed a performance goal a WDA must obtain greater than 100% of the
negotiated measure. The Southwest Workforce Development Area is currently
serving 733 Adults, 499 Dislocated Workers, 1113 Younger Youth (14-18) and 151
Older Youth (19-21). The Southwest
Workforce Development Area has exited 82 Adults, 65 Dislocated Workers, 320
Younger Youth (14-18) and 27 Older
Youth (19-21).
